How to Import Forms into Open Dental / Practice Web from a Server
- Download your E-mailed Forms to a known location on your Server. For this example we will be using the Downloads folder.
- Navigate to the "SheetImages" folder by going to "My Computer" and double-click into your C drive.
- Now locate the "OpenDentImages" and double-click to open the folder.
- Now locate the "SheetImages" and double-click again to open the folder.
- Once you have navigated to the "Sheetimages" folder, in a New open where you have saved your Forms and copy only the JPEG image(s) (not the .XML file) to the "SheetImages" folder.
- Next, open your Open Dental / Practice Web practice software and go to, "Setup" and then "Sheets"
- After you have open the "Sheets" module now select, "Import"
- Once again, Navigate to where you saved your forms and select the ..XML file(s) and select "Open"
- Click "OK" when you see the "Imported" message and double-click on the newly form to Review.
- Once you have reviewed the form click "OK" to return to Sheets module.
- Click "Close" to close out of the Sheets module.
- You have successfully imported a converted form into your Open Dental / Practice Web.
